Consumers have taken a great liking to the Toyota Camry in the United States. And sales really peaked at 430,000 annual unit sales between 2011 and 2015. This latest modular architecture is similar to what is obtainable with the new Prius and the upcoming RAV 4, Car Traction reveals.

In terms of design and other features, the 2018 Toyota Camry has a bigger bumper which is able to take in more air, and a smaller grille. The headlamps look drawn back in a fashionable way and the cover hood has ridges that were never seen in earlier versions. The tail lights extend onto the trunk cover. A four-door coupe, the latest Toyota Camry to hit the market comes in SE and XSE models.

Attendees at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show were able to see the 2018 Toyota Camry first-hand. It can conveniently seat five passengers, including the driver, and its dashboard is something else. The design of the instrument console is not clustered, and the driver and front passenger can easily access the dashboard controls with great ease.
The 2018 Toyota Camry reportedly comes with an eight automatic gear transmission. The lowest engine of the three models will have a 2.5-liter inline 4 engine while the top model will come with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It cannot be confirmed at this point whether the 2.5-liter model has about 200 horsepower, but it is rumored the 3.5-liter V6 model has up to 300 horsepower.
The new Camry will feature Toyota’s latest in Human Machine Interface. There will be three interlinked displays including a 10-inch color Head-Up Display, a seven-inch multi-information display within the instrument cluster and an eight-inch audio/navigation display and heating, ventilation and air conditioning control panel seamlessly integrated into the center console. Camry drivers will also be the first to enjoy enhanced connectivity and entertainment through the
new Toyota Entune 3.0 multimedia system. The features included in Entune 3.0 are as follows:

The 2018 Camry will also feature a number of standard and available safety and convenience features. Toyota Safety Sense will be standard and includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, and Automatic High Beam. Other available features include Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Rear Cross Traffic Braking as well as a Bird’s Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan.
